Award: €7,000 for the winner of each category.
This international contest of war photography accepts works in various categories: TV and radio reportage, web-journalism and photo reportage. The piece should cover conflicts and their impact on people; their rights and freedoms and has to have been done from between June 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017. To participate in the contest one needs to submit an
application, a photo series (8 to 15 photographs), captions, description of the reportage, CV, and a personal profile photo.
Deadline: June 15, 2017.
Entry fee: $10-20.
Award: a main prize of $2,500 and two prizes $1,000 each.
A grant program for emerging photographers funded by the Lucie Foundation. To participate, one has to send the project description, a short bio or CV and 20 photographs (can be from different projects). Winners will be announced on August 4, 2017.
Deadline: June 26, 2017.
Entry fee: £10 for one photo, £25 for three, £35 for ten and £50 for twenty photos.
Award: participation in the exhibition.
A portrait contest organized by the British Journal of Photography. Photographers of any nationality are eligible to apply, however, the images must depict subjects living in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) at the time of the photograph. The best works will be a part of a nationwide exhibition that will show the face of modern Britain.
Deadline: June 30, 2017.
Entry fee: $15 per entree.
Award: an expedition to Galápagos Islands, publication in National Geographic Traveller and yearly subscription; for seven finalists – travel photography video courses, prizes of $2,500; $750; and $500 for the category winners.
A travel photography contest by National Geographic Traveller accepts entries can in each of the following categories: “Nature”, “People”, and “Cities.”

Award: $5,000 and participation in art-residence program in the USA.
An art-residency program organized by Light Work photo center chooses 12-15 photographers per year to pursue their own projects using the facilities of the center located in Syracuse (NY, USA). To participate one needs to send an application form, CV, previous works, recommendations, and letter of motivation.
Deadline: July 3, 2017.
Entry fee: £20 for one photograph, £45 for three photographs, £10 per each additional entry.
Award: £2,000 and £1,000 for two winners in the photography category, participation in the exhibition in London.
British contest of contemporary art for photographers, artists, and sculptors. Photography of all genres is eligible for participation, a separate prize of £500 will be given for the photograph that collects the highest number of user votes. Winners are to be announced at the finalists’ exhibition, on September 19-22.
Deadline: July 9, 2017.
Entry fee: $16-$22 depending on the category.
Award: The total prize pool is $50,000, including $22,000 in cash.
The panoramic photography contest is organized by the manufacturer of printing machinery, Epson. Photos are being accepted in three different categories: Nature (separately for professionals and amateurs), Architecture (also separated), and Open VR for 360° panoramas.

Entry fee: $20 for professionals and $15 for the amateurs.
Award: $2,000 and $1,000 for two winners.
Color photography contest with an open theme. Entries are being accepted in 20 categories, one participant can submit an unlimited number of images.
