Photographer captured people while they are hit with a stun gun

American Patrick Hall came up with an idea of a photo project to capture the reactions of people the second they’re shocked by a Taser.

Photographer from Charleston, South Carolina, came up with one of the craziest experimental photoshoots – he decided to capture the reactions of people the second they are hit with a Taser stun gun.

“As a portrait photographer I always try to make clients comfortable in front of camera, – Patrick shares. – However, I started to think: what would make my models feel uncomfortable and create an interesting dynamic in itself?”

People reacted to being electrocuted differently: some screamed, some stayed quiet, some seemingly enjoyed it. Several jumped, and a few laughed. According to Hall, he liked to watch those doing the tazing as well: many of them were friends or significant others of the tazed, who were excited to cause pain to their friend and only showed remorse immediately after executing the shock.

Altogether Hall made about 100 portraits of the electrocuted, and recorded a backstage video of the shoot where you can observe the participants of the experiment.
