SXSW Film Awards Selects the Best Music Video, Poster, and Title Design of 2016

The music video for Leon Bridges’ River became the video of the year.

Organizers of the SXSW Film Awards named the best works of 2016, It’s Nice That writes. The contest is held annually during the South by Southwest, film and media festivals and conferences.

The winner of the best music video is Miles Jay with his video for Leon Bridges’ River. The jury also noted the work of CANADA team, which created a music video for Tame Impala’s The Less I Know The Better.

The jury also selected the best animation of the year — Wednesday with Goddard by Nicolas Menard from Britain (the video is unavailable for viewers from some countries). The Poster of the Year is a poster for Fry Day created by Laura Moss and a poster for Into the Current by Chris R. Moberg and Jared Young has the best title design.
