Instagram of the Day: Psychedelic Rainbows by Jen Stark
Jen Stark was born in Miami in 1983. She studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and Center for Arts and Culture in Aix en Provence, France. In Europe, Jen got interested in paper as the cheapest and the most available material for building installations (each of the works by the artist requires between 50 and 150 layers of color paper). She soon became fond of painting and even painted her works on the walls of urban spaces.
Today, Stark creates sculptures, paintings, and clothes. She has had over 10 personal and over 40 group exhibitions. According to the artist, she studies the ideas of replication and infinity in nature.
My new mural 'Drippy' is revealed tonite at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago along with 10 other amazing artist's installations: Daniel Arsham, Bhakti Baxter, Jim Drain, FriendsWithYou, Cody Hudson, Alvaro Ilizarbe, Andrew Nigon, Kenton Parker, Bert Rodriguez, Jen Stark & Austyn Weiner.
