Caryn Cullinan Fundraises to Publish a Photo Book of Doors from 40 Cities
A 40-year-old Caryn Cullinan started a fundraising campaign to publish a book with photos of entrance doors captured at different places around the globe. Images from more than 70 cities can be found in her collection, writes CBS News.
The photographer became interested in doors during a trip to Florence in May 2012. Very quickly her interest turned into a real passion. “Each city evokes so much personality and the door is a direct reflection of this,” she says. As part of her day job in the sales department of a German company, Cullinan travels a lot and gathers photos for the collection.
The book Cullinan is fundraising for will contain photos from 40 cities: Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Washington DC, Dusseldorf, Germany, Paris, France, Istanbul, Turkey, London, Great Britain, Barcelona, Spain and others.
