Flickr’s Best Photos will be Used as Background in Google Chrome

Flickr adopted Google Art Project’s idea of changing backgrounds in new browser tabs.

Yahoo!, the owner of Flickr, released an app that uses photos from Flickr’s archive as backgrounds in Google’s Chrome browser, reports fastcodesign.com. After launching the app, “Flickr Tab,” newly opened tabs will contain a randomly selected photo.

A similar app was released by Google Art Project. The two projects, Google and Flickr Tab, are almost identical.
