Bird In Flight tested the new iPhone app: its filters turn photographs into artwork by famous painters.
The Prisma application developed by former employees of Yandex and Mail.Ru turns photographs into paintings. It offers 20 filters, among them ones that style photographs as artworks by famous painters: Munch, Kandinsky, Rowe, and others. The authors explain that the application uses neural networks for this.
Bird In Flight selected several universally recognized photography masterpieces and tested how they would look after being edited in Prisma.
