Winners of Drone Photography Contest
The best works were chosen from more than 6,000 submissions.
The jury of the 3rd international Drone Photography Contest held with the support of Dronestagram photo service and National Geographic magazine announced their 2016 winners.
The winners were selected in three categories. The best photograph in the Travel nomination was by Francesco Cattuto, who captured the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. Max Seigal became the winner in the Sports Adventure category — the jury has awarded his photograph taken at the Moab mountain in Utah, and Michael Rasmussen from Denmark won in the Nature Wildlife category.
The jury included Patrick Witty, Deputy Director of Photography at National Geographic, and Emanuela Ascoli, Photo Editor for National Geographic France.
