Winners of the Drone Photography Contest
The jury selected the winners from over 8,000 submissions.
The organizers of the Drone Photography Contest held for the fourth time with the support of Dronestagram and National Geographic announced the names of the 2017 winners. The jury reviewed over 8,000 submissions in the categories Nature, People, Urban, as well as a special Creativity category.
“I was blown away by the creativity of the photos in this contest. The photographers used drones to capture the world from new and unique perspectives,” photo editor for National Geographic Traveler Jeff Heimsath said. “The selection process was far from easy, this contest has certainly surfaced the best drone images from around the world.”
