Artist Poses as People from Picasso, Van Gogh, and Vrubel Paintings

Artist Bella Grigoryants presented a series of works where she poses as a character of classical paintings: she painted her body to make it look like part of the works of Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Vincent van Gogh, Andre Derain, Andy Warhol, and Mikhail Vrubel. She also posted the photographs she took as she worked on her project on her Facebook.

American body artist Alexa Mead works in a similar style. She paints the bodies of models to turn them into elements of ‘live’ paintings.
