Artist Tramples ZDF’s Ad in Snow

imon Beck spent several hours making an large scale logo of a German TV company in the snow.

A snow artist Simon Beck uploaded to Facebook a photo of his art work for the German TV channel ZDF. To advertise the TV company Beck trampled the channel’s logo in his signature style in the Italian Alps. Beck said that despite an avalanche scare the process of creating the motif was very successful. The only thing that upset the artist is because of strong wind he could not use a drone to make photo of the motif.

In an interview with Co.Design he said that creation of any of his motifs takes approximately 10 hours to complete. He uses a compass to create proper geometrical shapes.

In October 2014 Beck published a book Snow art featuring more than 200 photos of his trampled graphic motifs.
