Protest in Baltimore on Instagram

Witnesses publish photos of confrontation between police and African Americans.

Americans continue uploading photos of the protests in Baltimore, which has lead to arrest of more than 200 people. According to CNN‘s lastest data protesters have burned 144 cars, 15 buildings, looted dozens of stores and physically injured police. The protests began with the death of 25 year old African American, Freddie Gray, who was injured during an arrest. A state of emergency and curfew have been declared in Maryland and the governor called for the help from the state’s National Guard.
