NASA captured photos of astronauts who spent 6 months in orbit and are returning home.
On Thursday, NASA published images of the 43 Soyuz Expedition returning home. Commander Terry Virts of NASA, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov of the Russian Federal Space Agency, and Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency spent six months onboard the International Space Station. Images document The Soyuz TVA-15m spacecraft landing near the town of Zhezkazgam, Kazakhstan.
