Posters Show How Drugs Affect the Brain

As part of the psychology assignment at Duke University, graphic designer Meaghan Li created a series of the posters called “This is Your Brain on Drugs”. The name of the project came from an anti-narcotics campaign launched in 1980th in the USA. The creators used an egg as a symbol of the human brain, and showed what various toxins would do to an egg.

Li pictured the symptoms of 12 different drugs such as cocaine, heroin, alcohol, salvia, ketamine and others.
