New video features the changes in perception of female beauty in Russia within last 100 years.
The Cut posted a new video of the series that features changes in beauty standards between 1910 and 2010 in different countries of the world. The eighth video depicts the standards in Russia. A model, Anya Zaytseva, represents the noble family in 1910s, wipes the lipstick in 1940th to mark the beginning of the WWII and puts on balaklava in 2010th.
Earlier, the magazine showed evolution of beauty in the USA, Korea, Iran, Mexico, India and the Philippines.
