A San Francisco Start-Up Developed a Device That Creates a Bubble of Silence

Muzo looks like a small smartphone-sized panel which is attached to a flat surface and absorbs sound and vibrations.

Celestial Tribe, a San Francisco-based company, released a home noise device called Muzo, which emits sound waves, which complement sound waves in such a way they turn into silence, The Next Web writes.

Muzo looks like a small smartphone-sized panel which is attached to the window or any other flat surface and absorbs vibration. The developers started a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and attracted over $430,000 in several weeks.

According to the developers, Muzo can also create pleasant sounds for sleep or a ‘privacy bubble’ which prevents strangers from overhearing a conversation in a public place.

The device costs #119. Developers promise that the first users will receive it already in February 2017.
