Rio De Janeiro Seen in 10K Video

A photographer shot five scenes of the city with 10,328 x 7,760 pixel resolution.

An American photographer, Joe Capra, posted on Facebook “10K Timelapse Demo,” a film he shot using extreme resolution of the PhaseOne IQ180 camera. In the video, commissioned by the producer of the camera, Capra depicts five scenes from everyday life in Rio De Janeiro. To demonstrate the camera’s capacity, he made 500 images (80 megapixel each) of the urban landscape and edited them in one video.

While shooting, Carpa did not use filters or noise canceling, manually set exposure, and minimally processed the images. With every fragment Capra shows how the quality of the image is preserved when the size of the image is doubled with resolution of 10 328×7 760 pixels and how accurately the camera reproduces colors

Carpa recommends watching the video in full screen resolution in “full HD” quality.
