Link of the Day: A Player of Top Songs from Billboard Chart for the Last 60 Years
A new project by Polygraph will help you find out which songs were the most popular in the 1950s or 1970s.
The authors at Polygraph developed a music player called How Music Taste Evolved, where they selected the most popular songs from Billboard chart between 1956 and 2015.
The player looks like an interactive timeline and can be customized for the required decade, year, or month.
Polygraph earlier presented a similar project on the history of music, where they gathered data about the timeless songs that are still popular, although they were created 20, 30 or 50 years ago.
