Time Colorized the Racing Photographs from Early 20th Century
The photographs were taken between 1913 and 1948.
Time published old photographs of the Indianapolis 500 — a popular race on open-wheel cars that first took place in 1911.
The magazine commissioned Sanna Dullaway to colorize the photographs, a Swedish artist who earlier worked on the photographs of WWII refugees and the pictures of migrants in the US 100 years ago.
