Link of the Day: The Unseen Photos of Vietnam War Taken by the Veterans

Kendra Rennick collects photographs from the personal archives of the participants of the events in Vietnam.

NYC-based photo editor Kendra Rennick launched The Vietnam Slide Project where she collects photographs taken by those who took part in the war in Vietnam, Feature Shoot writes.

The author says that she got the idea of the project after a daughter of one of the recently deceased veterans contacted her. After the death of her father the woman found a box filled with photographs that she had never seen before. It was then that Rennick decided to start collecting similar photographs from personal archives.

She is also planning a series of interviews with those veterans who are still alive: “There are so many memories that have never been told, — Rennick says. And she is hoping to give them the opportunity to be.
