Architect Filled New York City, Paris, and Venice with Tokyo Commercials

Daigo Ishii brought some Tokyo to other cities.

Japanese architect Daigo Ishii presented a series of works called Worldwide Tokyo-lization Project where he showed what the world capitals would look like if they had the elements of the urban environment which are typical for Tokyo, DesignBoom writes.

Among the cities that temporarily acquired many advertising signs and neon banners are New York City, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Paris, Venice, and La Paz.

Last year, French designer Nicolas Damiens created a similar project where he imagined how a Japanese capital would look if it were stripped of advertisement.
