Kenya Hara Draws an Alternative Logo for Tokyo Olympics
A Japanese designer presented his version of the emblem of the Olympics.
A Japanese art director, designer and founder of Hara Design Institute published an alternative version of Tokyo 2020 Olympics logo, DesignBoom writes. In addition to the emblem, Hara also presented a broader visual concept, which demonstrates the design he created in real-life applications: on printed materials, participants’ uniform or during the TV broadcasts.
Japanese Olympics Committee withdrew the previously approved official logo of the competition following the claims that the author, Kenjiro Sano, plagiarized it.
