Pantone Releases App to Analyze Colors in the Real World

Pantone Studio turns user's mobile device into a portable eyedropper.

Pantone together with Rokkan design studio released a new version of Studio app that turns the user’s device into an eyedropper tool, which can identify colors that constitute an image and find them in the Pantone system, It’s Nice That writes.

The algorithms of the program also allow for matching colors, create palettes, share them with other users on social networks, and import them to Adobe Creative Сloud to further use them in graphic editors.

“The app was building off of two fundamentals: inspiration and workspace,” John Noe, CEO of Rokkan, says.

Pantone Studio is currently available only for iOS devices: it can be downloaded for free on AppStore.
