Video of the Day: Disney Animation by Salvador Dali

In 2003, Walt Disney studio completed the project that was started in mid-20th century.

In 2003, Walt Disney released an animation that Salvador Dali contributed to. The storyboard for the six-minute video were created in late 1945 to early 1946, but the studio suspended the project due to the lack of funding.

The idea to finish this animation almost 60 years later belongs to Walt Disney’s nephew, Roy. The studio asked John Hench to help, because he was working together with Dali back in 1945. 25 animators used the original sketches of the artist and turned them into a single story.
