Аpple Launched a Beta Version of Portrait Mode for iPhone with Bokeh Effect

The first photographs taken with the help of the new feature are being uploaded by users.

Apple launched a beta version of iOS 10.1, which among other features includes Portrait mode for iPhone 7 Plus, which allows for taking pictures with bokeh effect. Internet users who have access to the new feature started publishing first photographs that uses it, TJournal writes.

With the help of its double camera, the smartphone creates a three-dimensional model of objects in the frame and then uses a program to add bokeh effect to the image, thus imitating the behavior of DSLR cameras.

This feature is currently being tested and is available only for developers. Most iPhone 7 Plus users will have to wait for full release of iOS 10.1.
