Videographer Shows Extreme Footage with a Steadicam
Austrian videographer Florian Hatwagner posted a first-person POV video made at the shooting location of a Nike advertisement, where he performs extreme tricks.
Hatwagner (known as Gimbalninja) is famous for his aggressive manner of shooting, which he combines with the elements of parkour and extreme sports. For instance, he showed earlier how he flew through the car interior to capture a collision with a cyclist from the backseat passenger’s POV.
When making an advertisement for Nike, Hatwagner had to jump over obstacles, climb bamboo framework, and jump from the rooftop of a one-storey building (with safety gear). He performed all the tricks while having a camera and other equipment attached to him. You can compare the video made during the shooting with the final version of the advertisement.
