Freeze Frame PSA Shows the Difference Between Crashes at Different Speed
Clemenger BBDO agency released a PSA where it showed what happens to the car during the accident depending on the driving speed.
The video with freeze frames shows the same situation where the driver reacts to the child on the road seven times. The first time, the driver is moving at a low speed, so it is shown that he has time to brake. But then the camera shows other versions of events, Adweek writes.
The video draws attention not to driving over the speed limit, but to the fact that the speed is one of the few parameters of movement that the driver can control on the road to prevent accidents.
This is not the first work by Clemenger BBDO for the Australian Transport Accident Commission. The agency has earlier made a video about Graham, a man who can survive any traffic accident, as well as other PSA videos.
