Internet Users Mock a Christmas Card Published by the FBI

The holiday-related post on Twitter became a target for jokes.

On December 24, the Federal Bureau of Investigation published a Christmas card on Twitter to congratulate the subscribers with the coming holidays, The Independent writes.

The drawing that was apparently done in Paint immediately became a target for jokes: users started mocking the fact that the organization known for its cutting-edge technology and enormous budgets did not hire a good designer.

“I absolutely love that an agency with millions of dollars in funding assigned this task to an intern using MS Paint,” one of them wrote. “I started my new job doing graphic design for the FBI today. Wish me luck!” another said. “FBI, arrest yourselves for this card,” is another example of the reaction to FBI holiday message.

Many users also decided to thank the authors of the Christmas card by publishing cards in similar style:
