Product Images of a New Camera with 16 Lenses Released
Light Rumors published several photographs that show the final design of Light L16 — a camera, equipped with 16 lenses with different focal lengths, PetaPixel writes. The plans to release L16 were announced in late 2015, and by the summer 2016, the creators of the camera have attracted about $30 million of investment. The producers are expecting to start taking pre-orders this summer.
Light says that the new camera will quietly revolutionize photography. One of its main advantages is that it uses a full set of different lenses for each photograph, which among other things, will allow to change the focal point, depth of field and exposure settings during post-editing. L16 will also allow taking 52-Mpx photographs and shooting 4K video.
