Video: Professional Photographers with Cheap Cameras vs Amateurs with Expensive Ones

During the experiment, professional photographers took photographs with a cheap camera, and an amateur used a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.

Daniel and Rachel of Mango Street posted a video where they checked how different the photographs taken by professional and amateur photographers are if the former use cheap cameras and the latter use expensive ones, DIY Photography writes.

They invited their friend to participate in the experiment and asked him to take a series of portraits of a young woman with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV — which together with the lens costs about $5,000. The authors of the video, professional photographers, used cheap Canon EOS Rebel T3i and EOS Rebel T5 — both devices cost no more than $500. They took pictures of the same model in the same studio with the same light, and then compared the result with the photographs taken by their friend.
