The New Yorker Compares Old and New Footage of New York City Taken from the Same Viewpoint

The magazine showed the changes that happened in the last 80 years.

The New Yorker published an eight-minute video which compares footage taken in the same streets of New York with 80 years difference. To make the video the authors found archive footage from the 1930s taken from a moving car, and recreated it almost frame by frame in modern conditions. Last year, The New Yorker did a similar video about Los Angeles.
