Tim Walker Takes a Series of Surreal Portraits of Tilda Swinton

Fashion photographer Tim Walker presented a series of portraits of Tilda Swinton — the project that he did as a part of the promo campaign for the film Okja where the British actress is featured as one of the main characters. The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was released for the public on June 28, Vice writes.

It was recently revealed that Tim Walker will be the photographer to make the new Pirelli calendar. Involving him will be the third time that Pirelli gives up their traditional concept for something different. In 2016, the authors of the calendar changed format for the first time and did not photograph their models naked. Then, the calendar featured 13 influential women of our time, according to American photographer Annie Leibovitz. In 2017, the calendar was made by German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, who took a series of portraits of famous actresses.
