British car rental company engaged world travelers into its commercial

Pictures of the I Can’t Believe My Eyes contest finalists become part of the Avis advertising campaign

According to Photography Monthly, British car rental company Avis produced a 2-minute video featuring the best shots from the participants of I Can’t Believe My Eyes — a contest for the title of the best photographer-on-the-road.

In order to participate in the competition you simply had to submit a shot on the subject of travel via Avis’s Facebook page. The participants were from Great Britain, France, Germany and Spain. Those photos selected by the jury were presented for voting on their website — page visitors were the ones who ultimately determined the winner.

The majority of votes went to Aurelia Lemelle. She won a trip for two valued at $8,500 and a free car rental. The work of the finalists is showcased in the video I Can’t Believe My Eyes and will be part of the Avis future advertising campaigns.
