Donald Weber and Arthur Bondar Will Publish Book
Book “Barricade” will be published by Dutch company Schilt Publishing and released in October 2014. The book is the result of the joint efforts of American and Ukrainian photographers.
First author of the book is Arthur Bondar, alumnus of the Magnum Foundation Human right, winner of Documentary Project Fund (USA), Best Photographer of the Year in Ukraine (2012). Second author is Donald Weber twice winner of World Press Photo Award (please see his interview). Together they have prepared for publishing book about Euromaidan: Barricade.
Attempting to present the events in a non-biased way, the two photographers have worked independently: Weber focuses on the emotions of the protesters, whereas Bondar explores heavy censorship issue while covering the confrontation.
