Nazi Photo Exhibition Closed in Russia

Due to public pressure, organizers moved a Nazi exhibition from a library to the internet.

The exhibition “Bryanzhina Through the Lens of War: Fate of the Children,” a collection of child portraits made by the Nazis was closed ahead of schedule in Bryansk. For four years a local historian, Pavel Marchenkov, collected materials revealing new information about the history of the region. Sergei Kurginyan, the leader of the “Essence of Time” movement discovered Fascist propaganda in the exhibition materials and demanded a shut down. In response to the public pressure, the exposition was moved to the website “Bryanskaya Ulitsa.”
