Dazed Digital Finds Film Frames in Fashion Campaigns
New ad campaigns for leading fashion houses refer to characters from famous films. Dazed Digital noticed that film frames can be found in the campaigns of Alexander McQueen, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Alexander Wang.
English roses play a key role in the new campaign of Alexander McQueen. An image features the model Ruth Bell holding the flowers. She resembles the protagonist of the classic film “The Passion of Joan of Arc” by Carl Theodor Dreyer.
