List of the Best Photos from Forbidden Places is Created
Business Insider gathered Instagram’s images taken at places where photography is prohibited. In these spaces people taking pictures face paying a fine, and in some cases even condemned to imprisonment. For example, photographers were taken to the court and one of them was jailed for taking photos of the Presidential Palace and Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The collection includes photos of the Westminster Abbey in Great Britain, Egypt’s Valley of Kings, the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, and Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow.
