Biologist and photographer, Anand Varma, explained how he took pictures of parasites for the new issue of National Geographic.
The main topic of National Geographic’s November issue is behavior of barnacles, fungi and flat worms; parasites who feed on the brains of other animals. The magazine published a video where Anad Varma talks about his process of shooting and the difficulties he faced. “I wanted to picture these creatures in a lively and attractive manner, that is why the project has turned into a real story,” says Varma.
