Vogue Turns Models Into Dolls

For the new issue of French Vogue an Italian photographer Giampaolo Sgura held a provocative photo session featuring supermodels Magdalena Frackowiak and Elisabeth Erm as living dolls enclosed in Barbie-like boxes. The models look like “brand new in box” (BNIB) toys – their makeup, hair and outfits are doll-like. The models are surrounded by an array of outfits and accessories. Every photo features a a look from one of the legendary brands: a sport girl by Fendi, a French girl by Chanel, punk rocker by Saint Loran, horse rider by Gucci, flight attendant by Ralph Lauren.
