Camera in iPhone 6 Has Gone Through Changes

The matrix resolution remains the same, but other features are significantly improved.

Today Apple Inc. revealed new models of its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as well as new smartwatch device Apple Watch. The company perfected the processor, operating system and screen, as well as the smartphone’s camera.

The matrix resolution didn’t change – similar to models 5 and 5S, it remains 8 megapixels. The developers improved sensor iSight, doubled the autofocus speed, and increased the size of panoramas up to 43 megapixels. The new gadget can shoot HD-quality videos (1080p) at the speed of 60 frames per second in regular mode, and up to 240 frames in the slow motion mode (iPhone 5 shoots 30 and 120 frames accordingly).

Also, iPhone 6 Plus acquired the additional function of optical image stabilization. The stabilization remains digital in iPhone 6. As far as the front camera goes, according to the developers, it was “made for selfies.”
