Google Launches an App to Scan Printed Photographs
PhotoScan creates digital versions of the printed photographs.
Google presented a new mobile application called PhotoScan to scan printed photographs with a smartphone, PetaPixel writes. The program is already available for devices both on iOS and Android.
To scan a photograph, the user only needs to point a camera on four white dots on the edges of the image, after which the digital copy of the photograph will be saved in the phone’s memory. The program also automatically deletes glare and allows for editing the image with the help of a built-in editing tool.
