Blog of the Day: Stock Photobombing
Matthew Vescovo reinvents boring stories of typical stock photographs, by 'injecting' himself into them.
New York art director Matthew Vescovo posts collages on his blog where he photobombs typical stock photographs, pretending he is one of the characters, DesignTAXI writes.
He says that he had the idea of The Stock Photobomb after he had to look through a huge number of repetitive stock photographs for work. Vescovo says he decided to “inject reality into an unreal world,”
The author behind @averagerob also photobombs his images into other people’s photographs, but he works with images of celebrities.
