What Movie Characters Look Like In The 16th Century
Last week on the Paris Photo festival French photographer Sacha Goldberger presented his new project Super Flemish featuring pop culture and movie characters in 16th century paintings. The artist, with assistance from twelve people doing make up and hair as well as five costume designers, spent two years working with the series.
“All of it was incredible, it was like a dream comes true. When you see the Hulk in front of you and you ask him to look romantic, it’s crazy. The Joker was also very impressive. He endured three hours of make-up and started to act like Heath Ledger in the movie,” says Goldberger.
