Photo of the Day: Ephemeral Dancing

American photographer Pistol Wish captures dancers like they are falling apart into a million particles.

An American photographer Pistol Wish captures professional dancers, and with the help of the graphic editor adds motion to the images. One of his series “Ephemeron” is showcased at the Google office in Los Angeles.

“Fleeting moments are amplified to reflect the ephemeral nature and motion of the subjects. Inspired by the movement of air in an underwater space, these images are treated with an algorithm that extracts color, shape, direction and depth from the still and creates a new surreal vignette of the subject,” describes Wish about the series on his website.
