Photo of the Day: Shades of Bird Plumage

German photographer Thomas Lohr’s new project Birds shows a huge variety of bird species. He chose not to take photos of the birds in the studio or in wild, and instead focused on the details of their appearance, plumage, unique colors and textures.

Lohr recently published a book with the similar name.
