Photographer Shoots Porn Stars from Unusual Angles

New York based photographer, Roger Kisby, visited the ANV Awards, the award ceremony from the Adult Video News Channel (the so-called Oscars of pornography) and made portraits of adult movie actors and actresses in a small portable studio.

“Porn stars are photographed everyday from every angle imaginable. What I wondered was, ‘How do you shoot them in a way that’s not been done before?’” said Kisby.

To capture “the humanity behind the glitz,” the photographer asked the actors and actresses to pull their shirts down a bit and try to not look sexy. But the photographer said that the actors and actresses were stilly trying to do the porn look – sexy eyes and pouty lips.
