American Scientists Develop a Filter that Removes Obstructions from Photographs

The software removes reflections, obstructions and needless elements from an image.

Developers of Google and researchers from MIT have created a programming filter that removes obstructions and reflections on images. For example, an image taken through glass or a chain link fence with the help of the technology can be “cleaned” from needless objects and reflections writes Peta Pixel.

In order to have the software remove reflections or obstacles, the photographer has to capture several photos from one point of view while slightly moving the camera between the frames. The technology will analyze the photos and separate the main image from reflections.
