The authors of the popular TV series Game of Thrones posted a 10-minute video about the process of shooting the scene from season 6 episode 9 of the series — the Battle of Winterfell between the armies of Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton. The video had almost 3 million views in three days.
The Next Web writes that the authors used a lot less special effects that one would think: most of the scenes, including the one when dozens of horses are running at Jon Snow at full speed, were shot live with real actors.
