What the Lens shows users several dozen photographs and offers to choose the best of them.
Canadian photographer who works under the name of Willy C created a website called What The Lens, which helps users choose the lens that most suits them based on the photographs that they like. The user needs to select 20 best photographs out of the ones that are shown to him, and after that the program comes up with a result.
What The Lens uses photographs and their details from 500px. The database currently has only various Canon lenses, but in the future it might also have devices of other companies, too.
In addition, the users can select photos from different categories: People, Animals, Travel, Macro, Landscapes and City and Architecture.
There is also a similar instrument that helps beginner photographers choose ideal film.
