American Photo Magazine Going Digital

Magazine has announced that will go digital from May.

American Photo editor-in-chief, Miriam Leuchter, announced that April’s edition of the magazine will be the last print version. Beginning in May articles will be published only on their website. The publisher of the magazine, Bonnier Corporation, stated that last year’s audience of American Photo was 1 million people, but the total print circulation was only 100,000 copies. Printing the magazine is no longer profitable.

The publishers suggested that readers subscribe another of their photography magazines, Popular Photography, and look for American Photo online.
